Bespoke industrial training courses - a new 'Paragraf' in our CPD offerings
This year, we have been excited to deliver a 3-day residential training course in Dry Etch for our long-term collaborators at Paragraf, the first company in the world to mass produce graphene-based electronics.
The Leeds Nanotechnology Cleanroom prides itself on supporting spin-out companies and SMEs to bridge capabilities and skills gaps, to support CPD and to upskill and retrain staff. Whether through providing access to our state-of-the-art semiconductor processing facilities, supporting process development, or offering advanced training courses comprising a unique blend of industry focus and theoretical depth, we have something to offer to everyone.
Thanks a lot for organizing the training! It was a very well-designed course providing everyone with a good theoretical knowledge but most importantly covering the practical/industrial aspect of the RIE process.
Our hybrid practical/theoretical course included all aspects of dry-etch process development, chamber maintenance, system construction, from the very basics of recipe creation and chamber cleaning, through design-of-experiments to plasma physics, and was complemented by relevant metrology including ellipsometry, reflectometry, LEPD and OES.
[I] just want to say thanks for the great training you've been providing my team this week.... much appreciated.
To discuss training opportunities on offer from our fantastic facility and staff, please contact Chris Wood to discuss your needs. We look forward to hearing from you.
