Student Outreach - Abbey Grange Academy

The Leeds Nanotechnology Cleanroom was thrilled to host Abbey Grange Academy for an exciting outreach event in colaboration with the EPSRC-funded Teracomm programme grant (EP/W028921/1). During the activity, students competed to produce the smallest image of a pre-designed cartoon character using state-of-the-art maskless lithography to pattern optical photoresists. They then had the unique opportunity to image and characterise their detailed patterns using advanced optical microscopy, combining precision and advanced nanotechnology in an engaging, hands-on experience!
