The 2nd annual Winter Training School: A Success!

Another year, another successful Winter Training School in Cleanroom Fabrication Techniques, hosted in the Leeds Nanotechnology Cleanroom. 21 delegates from across the country, from both industry and all stages of academia, were put through their fabrication paces by our top team of Experimental Officers from Leeds, Cambridge and Swansea, and were given world-class presentations on fabrication techniques by colleagues from Suss Microtech and Microchip, alongside professors from leading research facilities at LEMAS and CISM. This year, our industrial session included talks from QinetiQ, the Compound Semiconductor Cluster, Paragraf and the National Physical Laboratory, followed by a Q&A with our industrial panel, hosted by Rob Hardeman MBE.
